A lot of people suffer from hemorrhoids, one more than the other. Yet it is a subject that people do not talk easily about. Below you can read about my experience hemorrhoids.
What are hemorrhoids?
Hemorrhoids are: tissue with small blood vessels (corpora cavernosa). They are called erectile tissue because the tissue can swell such that the closing of the anus air and leak tight.
When these regularly erectile tissues under high pressure (such as, for
example, straining during bowel movements) come to stand, the pressure
in the arteries increases and can cause them to expand. At that time often created problems such as:
• After stool something blood on toilet paper
• A burning sensation around the anus
• Itching and irritation around the anus
• During the stool you have pain and some bleeding
• Noticeably a bump on the outside of the anus.
When you get hemorrhoids?
Most people suffer from hemorrhoids as they have a difficult (hard)
stool, but also the following factors play a role in getting
hemorrhoids:
• If you are over 30 years
• hemorrhoids are in the family for many
• If you are overweight
• Difficult stool (hard pressing)
• Almost no or little movement
• During pregnancy or childbirth (presses)
What can you do to prevent hemorrhoids or cure?
• Use daily fiber rich and varied diet, which promotes bowel movements and makes the stool smoothly.
• Drink daily at least 2 liters of water.
• When stools: not press and do not sit too long. If the bowel does not work please try later.
• Move sufficient
• Try to maintain a regular time for going to the toilet.
• Consult the doctor so he / she can write an ointment.
If the above is not or does not help enough, one can optionally choose to remove the hemorrhoids surgically.
My experience with hemorrhoids
After the birth of my first child I suffered from hemorrhoids, these are never entirely gone away. Because my mother here has quite a lot of problems, I followed her advice and I used the tips above. Because I have always had a lot of difficulty with defecation and this is certainly one of the major causes of my hemorrhoids.
I am trying as much as possible fiber to eat and drink well, I will not
have to put any pressure on the anus and hemorrhoids get the rest. Because of this I have no or almost no longer suffer from my hemorrhoids.
This helps clear to me because if I as a period during the holidays
less watch my food (bowel movement) symptoms of hemorrhoids come back
immediately. At the GP I gives sometimes an ointment to eliminate the irritation and itching.
